Servicing / Repair and Modification
No Matter how good the tooling, at some stage it will need servicing and possible repair. This is also the obvious time to carry out any modifications. At Duoform we service and repair tools manufactured by other tool makers as well as ourselves be they British based or sourced from aboard.
We have our own transport for small moulds up to one ton in weight so that we can respond as quickly as possible to customers breakdowns. We categories all breakdowns as being one the following :-
- Express Service
- Maintenance Service
- Modification
Express Service - Where a mould tool is malfunctioning, however the customer requires it back as soon as humanly possible, in this instance we will change our work schedule to accommodate the speed and urgency of the repair.
Maintenance Service - Where we are allowed a little more time to undertake the repair but agree the timescale with our customers, once we have had the opportunity of assessing what is required.
Modification - We can advise on modification to overcome tooling problem that have been identified in production runs and carry these out again in agreed timescale's.
